We are excited to announce an innovative collaboration that breaks out of the trading card world, bringing together contemporary art and Asian star Remu Suzumori.
Contemporary artist Masato Yamaguchi takes inspiration from “TOKYO STUPID CARDS Ver. Remu Suzumori” to explore an entirely new realm of expression like never before.
To celebrate this project, a world tour featuring collaborative works will be held across multiple cities.
Both Masato Yamaguchi and Remu Suzumori are scheduled to make appearances at the venues.
Through these exhibitions in major cities, we aim to introduce a new art movement from Japan to a global audience.

トレーディングカードの世界を飛び出し現代アートとアジアスター涼森れむが融合する革新的なコラボレーションを発表します。
現代アーティスト・山口真人が、「TOKYO STUPID CARDS Ver. Remu Suzumori」からインスピレーションを得て、これまでにない新たな表現領域に挑戦。
本プロジェクトに際し、コラボレーション作品を携えて、各地を巡るワールドツアーを開催します。
さらに会場には山口真人と涼森れむ本人の登場を予定しております。
各都市で開催される展示を通じて、日本発の新たなアートムーブメントを、国際的な観客に向けて発信していきます。

我们将发布一项突破性的合作企划—— 让交易卡的世界跃出平面，由当代艺术与亚洲巨星「凉森玲梦」实现前所未有的融合。 当代艺术家 山口真人 受 「TOKYO STUPID CARDS Ver. Remu Suzumori」 的启发，挑战全新的表达领域，创作出前所未有的合作艺术作品。 配合本项目，我们将携带合作作品展开全球巡回展览。 此外，在各站巡回展的会场中，山口真人与凉森玲梦本人也将亲临登场。 通过在不同城市举办的展览，我们希望把这场源自日本的全新艺术运动推向国际舞台，与全球观众分享。

This work marks Masato Yamaguchi’s first foray into the nude and represents a radical exploration of the theme of “contemporary portraiture,” which he has been developing through his SELFY series. In redefining the historically significant motif of the nude from a modern perspective, Yamaguchi chose Remu Suzumori—an internationally acclaimed adult film actress—as his model, portraying her as a “Venus of the digital age”: a symbol of contemporary nude imagery circulating through the internet and social media. In this piece, iconic poses of Remu Suzumori, along with symbolic elements such as bunny girls, nurses, and cat ears, are cut up and reassembled to create images that float between the viewer’s memory and desire. This serves as a cool yet cute iconography addressing the “consumption structure of sexualized images” in the age of social media.

山口真人が初めてヌードに挑んだ作品であり、「SELFY」シリーズを通して取り組んできた“現代の肖像画“というテーマを、さらにラディカルに掘り下げた試みです。
美術史の中で重要なモチーフである「ヌード」を、現代の視点から再定義するにあたり、山口はセクシー女優として国際的な人気を誇る涼森れむをモデルに、インターネットやSNSを通じて拡散される、現代的なヌードの象徴＝“デジタル時代のヴィーナス“としての絵画を描きました。
本作では、涼森れむの象徴的なポージングや、バニーガール、ナース、猫耳といった記号的な要素をカットアップ・再構成し、鑑賞者の記憶と欲望のあいだを浮遊するようなイメージを生み出しています。それは、SNS時代における「セクシャルイメージの消費構造」に対する、クールかつキュートなアイコノグラフィーとしてのアプローチでもあります。

这件作品是山口真人首次挑战“裸像”创作，同时也是他通过「SELFY」系列长期探讨的“当代肖像画”主题的进一步、更加激进的延伸。 在重新以当代视角定义美术史中重要母题——“裸像”时，山口以在国际间拥有高人气的性感女演员 凉森玲梦 为模特，将通过互联网与社交媒体不断被传播的“当代裸像”视为象征，创作出属于“数字时代的维纳斯”的绘画形象。 在作品中，凉森玲梦具有代表性的姿态，以及兔女郎、护士、猫耳等符号化元素被剪辑、拆解并重新构成，生成一种在观者的记忆与欲望之间游移的影像。这同时也是一种针对 SNS 时代“性影像的消费结构”所提出的、既冷静又可爱的图像学式（Iconography）的艺术回应。
