Biography

Biography

Masato Yamaguchi uses art to express a multidimensional worldview that fuses opposite beings, such as humans and machines, and the East and the West. In recent years, Yamaguchi has been focusing on painting works with machines, such as drones, cleaning robots, and machine-learning technology through programming. Yamaguchi attempts to endlessly renounce his direct expression, and by leaving the artistry to the machines, he paradoxically questions his own value and existence, and discovers the potential of the expression that is born from an assimilation between machines and people.
