"Consent Reality" Solo exhibition

From July 1, *Consent Reality* will be presented at the Contemporary Art Gallery on the 8th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store. With the cooperation of collectors, the exhibition will bring together a selection of works from the newly presented *Consent Reality*, as well as works previously exhibited in *SELFY: I’M IN TRANS*, a solo exhibition held at JUNCTION HARAJUKU in 2025, and *TRANSREALITY®*, a solo exhibition held at Frame Gallery / Tokyo in 2026.
*Consent Reality* is a new body of work that Yamaguchi has recently begun exploring. Yamaguchi has been 3D modeling his original character, *LUNA*, which he designed himself, while also creating music videos featuring original music. In this series, fragments captured from these videos are reinterpreted as paintings, exploring an approach that transforms virtual imagery into physical works of art.
The title *Consent Reality* carries multiple meanings. Literally, it can be understood as “consent to reality.” At the same time, it suggests a state in which realities, circuits, and information become “cross-wired,” overlapping and intersecting with one another.
The girl depicted in these works inhabits a world where multiple realities and streams of information are constantly crossing paths. Everyday scenes are filled with noise, while the boundaries between where one is and where others are gradually become blurred. Feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and the discomfort of being perpetually connected are expressed through the lyrics of the original music and the accompanying music videos. Through these works, Yamaguchi seeks to capture the new anxieties and sensations emerging within the everyday life of a possible future.



7.1 より阪急うめだ本店 8F Contemporary Art Gallery にて《Consent Reality》を開催いたします。新作《Consent Reality》と2025 年に JUNCTION HARAJUKU にて開催された個展《SELFY: I’M IN TRANS》、 および 2026 年に Frame Gallery / Tokyo にて開催された個展《TRANSREALITY®》にて発表された作品群を、 コレクター各位の協力のもと再展示いたします。
《Consent Reality》は、 山口が最近取り組み始めた新たな作品群です。 山口は、 自身が設計したオリジナルキャラクター《LUNA》の 3D モデリングを行い、 オリジナル楽曲を用いたミュージックビデオを制作しています。 本作では、 その映像の断片をキャプチャーし、 絵画として描き起こすことで、 バーチャルなイメージをフィジカルな作品へと変換するアプローチを試みています。
《Consent Reality》というタイトルには、 複数の意味が込められています。 直訳すれば 「現実への合意」 を意味する一方、 「混線 / Consent した現実 / Reality、 回路 が混線し、 交錯する状態」 を想起させるダブルミーニングにもなっています。
作品の中で描かれる少女は、 複数の現実や情報が絶えず交差する世界を生きています。 日常の風景はノイズに満ち、 自分がどこにいるのか、 他者がどこにいるのか、 その境界すら曖昧になっていく。 不安や孤独、 接続され続けることによる違和感といった感情が、 オリジナル楽曲の歌詞やミュージックビデオの中で語られています。 山口は、 そうした未来の日常に潜む新たな不安や感覚を描き出そうとしています。




自7月1日起，《Consent Reality》将在阪急梅田本店8楼 Contemporary Art Gallery 举办。此次展览将在各位收藏家的协力下，重新呈现山口真人全新系列《Consent Reality》，以及曾于2025年在 JUNCTION HARAJUKU 举办的个展《SELFY: I’M IN TRANS》和2026年在 Frame Gallery / Tokyo 举办的个展《TRANSREALITY®》中发表的作品。
《Consent Reality》是山口真人近期开始创作的一组全新作品。山口以自己设计的原创角色《LUNA》为基础进行3D建模，并以原创音乐制作音乐影像。在这一系列作品中，他将这些影像中的片段截取出来，再将其重新描绘为绘画，通过这种方式尝试将虚拟影像转化为实体作品。
《Consent Reality》这一标题包含多重含义。直译可以理解为“对现实的同意”，同时也带有另一层双关意味——仿佛现实、信息与线路发生“串线”，彼此交错、重叠，形成一种混杂的状态。
作品中的少女生活在一个多重现实与信息不断交错的世界里。日常景象充满噪音，自己身处何处、他人身处何处，以及人与人之间的界限，都逐渐变得模糊。焦虑、孤独，以及持续与外界连接所产生的不适感，都通过原创音乐的歌词与音乐影像得以呈现。
山口试图通过这些作品，描绘潜藏于未来日常生活中的新型不安与感知，以及生活在不断连接的世界中，人们可能面对的全新现实。
